Agreement #3: Appreciation/No Put Downs

Our discussion about this agreement took an interesting turn when students began to focus on appreciation as "being thankful." This is how they put the agreement into words:

Be thankful for your teacher, friends, supplies, room, books, food,
etc.

Show appreciation by saying "thank you." not being greedy,
and thinking carefully about the words you use (don't use words that HURT).
