We'll take our first Math CBA of the year tomorrow, Friday, September 11, 2009. The topics covered include place value, addition, subtraction and estimating sums and differences. We've been reviewing and practicing a lot in class. There is no specific review form to study at home. However, a great way to review/practice would be to give students large numbers to add and subtract, and also ask them to round numbers. For example: "Round 34,734,982 to the nearest hundred thousand."
